About the Fellowship

The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship Morocco is an equity-free acceleration program that supports high-impact EdTech startups using technology and innovation to tackle critical challenges in the Moroccan education system.

For the first 2026 cohort, the Fellowship places strong emphasis on inclusion, focusing on young women, people with disabilities (PWD), refugees and displaced persons (RDP), rural youth, and underserved communities, ensuring that EdTech innovation helps close learning and digital gaps beyond Morocco’s major cities.

How the Program Works

Apply

Startups apply online. Screening focuses on eligibility, problem–solution fit, impact potential, and scalability.

Step 2Mar – Apr

Get Selected

Shortlisted teams join interviews and solution reviews. Final selected startups are admitted into the program.

Step 3Apr – Nov

Acelleration and Funding

Join structured sprints, mentorship, pilots, and receive milestone-based, equity-free funding.

Step 4Nov and Beyond

Demo Day and Beyond

Show progress, connect with investors and partners, and continue receiving post-program support.
